Man Down!

Yes, this is perhaps the most relevant update in our life during our short hiatus: my boyfriend has nobbled his foot beneath the loading ramp of a skip, leaving Jasper and I alone on our travels.

It has been seven weeks and counting, and Jasper has learned quickly. He now only approaches me when he wants to go out, and gives only me The Eyes. Bad foot or not, Andrew doesn’t know how good he has it…

Oh my, it’s been so long…!

My sincere apologies, dear readers, for our absence from your internet – it must be said that the middle of this year has been disastrous for a plethora of reasons, and there has been so little time to sit down to the computer.

Through it all, though, Jasper has been at our side, charming and infuriating in equal measure.

He is, as you will see in the pictures to follow, an actual dog now – almost all grown up – and we simply could not be without him in our lives now.
